Residents of these cities typically experience higher levels of happiness, reduced stress levels, and improved physical and mental health. Communities in these cities openly meet in public places.   Abu Dhabi has been named the safest city in the world for the eighth consecutive year, with an overall score of 86.8, securing the top spot in the latest global safety ranking of more than 300 cities by  Numbeo . The ranking is based on survey responses of website visitors, who were asked about perceptions of safety and crime levels in their city. Abu Dhabi scored 90.07 and 83.88 in terms of safety walking alone during daylight and during night, considering 528 responses. The capital city also scored 8.81 (very low) in terms of crime, 20.90 (low) for problem corruption and bribery, and 12.45 (very low) for worries being subject to a physical attack because of skin color, ethnic origin, gender, or religion.
