Solar-powered tracks, designed by Greek company Seatrac, will be installed at Corniche Public Beach, Corniche Sahil Beach, Corniche Family Beach, Al Bateen Public Beach, and Al Bateen Ladies’ Beach. The technology has already been introduced at over 200 beaches in Greece. The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has partnered with Mubadala, a sovereign investor, to install remote control-operated ramps that allow people with disabilities to enjoy the waters without assistance.
