  The UAE has emerged as one of Egypt's most significant international investors , according to May 2024 reports from the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS). This strong partnership is reflected in the impressive bilateral trade, which has reached approximately $4 billion. Economic ties are a cornerstone of the robust UAE-Egypt relationship. This growing partnership is evidenced by an investment volume of $9.6 billion and the presence of over 1,600 Emirati companies operating within Egypt. UAE, Egypt continue operation ‘Birds of Goodness’ to alleviate sufferings of Gazans

  The UAE Ministry of Defence’s Joint Operations Command has completed the 32nd ‘Birds of Goodness’ humanitarian operation, airdropping 87 tonnes of aid and  Eid clothing to northern Gaza . The operation, part of the ‘Gallant Knight 3’ campaign launched on November 5, aims to address the needs of Palestinians and foster hope and joy. The campaign targets isolated areas in northern Gaza that are difficult to access by land, with the  total amount of aid delivered  since the campaign’s launch reaching 2,025 tonnes. The UAE has already delivered over 2,395 tonnes of aid to northern Gaza. The Gaza crisis began on October 7 with Hamas militants launching a surprise attack on Israeli cities, killing 1,200 people and taking hostages. Israel’s retaliatory strikes on Gaza have claimed over 33,000 lives.
