Abu Dhabi is gearing up for the future of transportation with Autogo’s self-driving ride-hailing service, set to launch in 2026. Partnering with Baidu’s Apollo Go, the service is undergoing rigorous testing in collaboration with the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) to ensure safety and compliance.
Apollo Go has already completed over 150 million autonomous kilometers globally with a strong safety track record. The next fleet will feature the RT6, a fully autonomous vehicle designed to enhance efficiency and safety.
This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s vision for smarter, greener urban mobility. By embracing AI-powered transportation, the emirate is taking a major step towards reducing emissions, improving road safety, and pioneering sustainable mobility solutions.
