 UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan embarked on a key diplomatic visit to Cairo, where he met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The visit underscored the robust ties between the two nations, marked by strong cooperation in economic, political, and cultural spheres.

President el-Sisi welcomed Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed with a formal reception, followed by an Iftar meal, symbolizing the deep camaraderie between the UAE and Egypt. The leaders engaged in extensive discussions focused on enhancing economic collaboration and exploring new avenues for strategic partnerships.

The UAE and Egypt share a historic bond, with bilateral relations consistently growing stronger. Over the years, the two countries have collaborated on major investment projects, particularly in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and technology. The UAE’s role as a key investor in Egypt has contributed significantly to economic growth and job creation.

The Cairo meeting also provided an opportunity for the leaders to address pressing regional issues, including developments in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Sudan. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to working together for regional peace and stability.

With a foundation of mutual respect and shared goals, the UAE and Egypt continue to strengthen their strategic alliance. This visit reaffirms their dedication to fostering economic progress, political stability, and continued cooperation for the benefit of their people and the broader region.
