Qatar GP: Marquez Reigns, Martin Crashes, and Vinales Penalized

The 2025 Qatar Grand Prix at Lusail was a thriller packed with highs and lows, headlined by Marc Marquez’s masterclass performance and Jorge Martin’s unfortunate crash.

Marquez looked unstoppable all weekend, dominating both the Sprint and the main race. Despite a collision with his brother Alex in the opening laps, the Ducati rider kept his cool, fended off pressure from KTM’s Maverick Viñales, and secured his first Grand Prix win at Lusail in over a decade. With this being his third win of the year and his Sprint streak intact, Marquez now tops the standings with 123 points, signaling a resurgence of the former champion.

The weekend turned grim for Jorge Martin, who crashed out on lap 14. It was a devastating blow for the Aprilia star, especially after missing the first three races due to injury. Medical reports confirmed a pneumothorax, and the timeline for his return remains uncertain. His early struggles in the Sprint, where he finished 16th, hinted at underlying issues. A prolonged absence could severely affect his championship hopes.

Meanwhile, Maverick Viñales' promising ride unraveled post-race. After briefly leading and mounting a strong charge, a tyre pressure violation saw him slapped with a 16-second penalty, demoting him to 14th. The surprise beneficiary was Franco Morbidelli, who claimed third place—his first podium of the season—after maintaining steady pace and surviving the early chaos.

The Qatar GP had it all: pace, pressure, and unpredictability—setting the tone for what’s shaping up to be a fiercely competitive season.

Exposing the Brotherhood: Why Jordan’s Terror Cell Bust Must Spark a Global Policy Shift

The recent dismantling of a Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated terror cell in Jordan should not be seen as just a national security success—it must be a turning point in how the international community views and responds to the threat posed by the Brotherhood. Jordanian security forces uncovered an elaborate network of terrorists trained in Lebanon and backed by foreign interests. Their mission: to launch attacks using rockets and drones, destabilizing the Kingdom and spreading fear among civilians. This is not the work of activists or political dissidents—this is terrorism, plain and simple. For too long, the Muslim Brotherhood has operated under a false image of moderation, cleverly navigating between political activism and violent extremism. But the truth is clear: the Brotherhood is the ideological engine room of jihadist terrorism. Its members, affiliates, and offshoots have inspired and directed acts of violence from North Africa to the Gulf—and now, once again, in Jordan. Govern...

Sky Care: How the UAE’s First Hospital Vertiport is Redefining Emergency Response

Imagine a critical patient, a time-sensitive organ for transplant, or a specialist medical team needed across a bustling city. On the ground, traffic is a formidable adversary, where every minute lost can alter outcomes. Now, imagine that same journey taking minutes instead of an hour, not by navigating the roads, but by soaring gracefully above them. This is not a scene from a sci-fi film; it is the new reality in the United Arab Emirates. In a landmark move that solidifies its position on the global stage of innovation, the UAE has officially launched the nation’s — and the region’s — first hospital-based vertiport at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. UAE Introduces AI-Driven Drones for Crescent Moon Sighting

For the first time in history, the UAE is employing artificial intelligence-powered drones to sight the crescent moon, signaling the start of Ramadan. This modernized approach blends technology with Islamic tradition, enhancing the reliability of moon sighting methods. Historically, the crescent moon has been identified through naked-eye sightings and advanced astronomical calculations. By incorporating AI-supported drones, the UAE is reinforcing its position as a leader in technological innovation while maintaining deep respect for religious customs. This method is backed by national research centers and astronomical observatories, ensuring precision and credibility in determining the start of Ramadan. Ramadan is a sacred month in Islam, marked by fasting from dawn to dusk. Suhoor, the early morning meal, and Iftar, the evening meal that breaks the fast, hold great importance during this period. The holy month is also a time of increased charitable giving, with many Muslims part...
