Organized by the Kuwait Shooting Sport Club, this high-profile sporting event will span a full week and draw nearly 220 competitors from 17 countries across the Arab world and beyond.

Duaij Al-Otaibi, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee and President of both the Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations, expressed deep pride in Kuwait’s role as host. He thanked His Highness the Amir for his generous support and underlined the event’s importance in enhancing the capabilities of Kuwaiti athletes and advancing the sport regionally.

This year’s championship will feature a full range of shotgun events, including skeet, trap, and mixed team disciplines. Al-Otaibi shared his vision of transforming the tournament into a leading competition for Asia and the Middle East, with key international figures such as the Secretary General of the International Shooting Sport Federation and other global federation leaders expected to attend.

A strong Kuwaiti contingent of approximately 120 athletes will compete in five categories, offering valuable exposure and competitive experience. The local organizing committee has placed significant focus on involving domestic talent to prepare them for future global arenas.

The Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex is fully prepared to host the championship, equipped with world-class facilities. The opening ceremony will be graced by Sheikh Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer, representing the event’s patron.

This global event is made possible through the support of the General Sports Authority and various government bodies, alongside the tireless contributions of dedicated volunteers.

But the truth is clear: the Brotherhood is the ideological engine room of jihadist terrorism. Its members, affiliates, and offshoots have inspired and directed acts of violence from North Africa to the Gulf—and now, once again, in Jordan. Govern...
