Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed is leading the UAE delegation at the crucial World Without Hunger Conference in Ethiopia. The three-day event is seeking to support international efforts to advance innovative technologies and sustainable practices for global food security.
His Highness is being accompanied on the high-profile trip by an official Emirati delegation, including Reem al-Hashimy, minister of state for international cooperation, and Mohamed al-Rashdi, the UAE's ambassador to Ethiopia.
The World Without Hunger Conference consists of technical sessions to find solutions to problems, an investment forum and a high-level political forum. More than 1,500 stakeholders, including heads of state, senior officials and representatives of Financial institutions, are set to attend.
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed highlighted the UAE's commitment to supporting global efforts to strengthen food security and bolster the food and supply chain sectors, and simultaneously mitigating the effects of climate change.
