The UAE Ministry of Finance has launched several community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan to empower people in need and improve their quality of life. The UAE has become a global destination for humanitarian work, addressing issues such as the recent earthquakes in Turkey and the ongoing Gaza crisis. Undersecretary Younis Haji Al Khoori emphasized the UAE’s commitment to charitable work and its role in assisting the vulnerable and underprivileged, improving quality of life, and enhancing social solidarity and tolerance.

Commemorating Zayed Humanitarian Day, the UAE Ministry organized a series of initiatives, including the ‘Iftar Sa’em’ initiative, distributing Iftar meals to 1,000 fasting people, the ‘Ramadan Mir’ initiative, promoting sustainable giving values among community groups, and the ‘Your Eidiya is On Us’ initiative, distributing Eid clothing to 100 orphans and their families. These initiatives highlight the UAE’s commitment to meeting needs before Eid al-Fitr and enhancing social closeness and cohesion.
