UAE PM Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid launches Mothers’ Endowment ahead of Ramadan 2024

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, aiming to honor mothers in the UAE by establishing a Dh1 billion fund to support the education of millions of people. The campaign is named after mothers as their children’s first teachers, who nurture generations and offer them necessary knowledge throughout life. The endowment fund plans to support the education and qualification of people in underprivileged communities worldwide, empowering them to enter the job market.

The campaign highlights the values of honoring parents, kindness, and solidarity, solidifying the UAE’s status in charity and humanitarian initiatives. The UAE’s unique culture of generosity is celebrated through the campaign, which calls upon everyone, young and old, men and women, to be part of it.

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) combines over 35 humanitarian, social, and development initiatives and entities that focus primarily on susceptible and disadvantaged communities across the globe. MBRGI also actively works to promote a cultural of hope across the Arab world, actively working to solve urgent humanitarian and development challenges and investing in human capital as the main source of development.

The Mother’s Endowment campaign builds on the success of previous Ramadan campaigns launched under HH Sheikh Mohammed’s directives over the past four years, including the ’10 Million Meals’ campaign in 2020, the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign in 2021, the ‘1 Billion Meals’ campaign in 2022, and the ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ in Ramadan 2023.

But the truth is clear: the Brotherhood is the ideological engine room of jihadist terrorism. Its members, affiliates, and offshoots have inspired and directed acts of violence from North Africa to the Gulf—and now, once again, in Jordan. Govern...
