Dubai is hosting the 1 Billion Followers Summit, a two-day event featuring top social media influencers and content creators from around the world. The summit, which concludes on Thursday, has attracted over 3,000 attendees, 100 speakers, and over 300 companies from the technology and social media sectors.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has announced a Dh150 million fund to support content creators and transform the digital media sector, as well as the establishment of a permanent influencers’ headquarters. The new headquarters, a collaboration between the UAE Government Media Office and the New Media Academy, aims to bring together top influencers and content creators from different countries and provide year-round support.
The Dh150 million fund aims to support the development of creative and impactful content, help creators hone their skills, and introduce the UAE’s story and cultural contributions to global markets. The summit will feature workshops, networking opportunities, and educational keynotes by prominent speakers, aiming to create a better world for everyone through more purposeful content.
