The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become a second home to a staggering 3.5 million Indian citizens, marking a significant milestone in the two countries' dynamic relationship. V Muraleedharan, the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs of India, shared this remarkable news during a session of the Lok Sabha, highlighting the increasing preference of Indians for UAE as a hub for employment opportunities. This population surge not only underscores the allure of the UAE but also signifies the strong ties between the nations.

The UAE's thriving economy and multicultural environment have magnetized an influx of Indian talent, leading to the establishment of Overseas Indian Help Centers in Dubai, serving as a testament to the support and resources extended to the Indian community. Moreover, it's not just the UAE; Indians have found opportunities and settled in other Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman. The Indian government's proactive approach is evident through the setup of assistance centers in key locations like Riyadh, Jeddah, and Kuala Lumpur, reaffirming their commitment to the welfare of Indian citizens abroad.
